Fishing New England waters for over 40 years. No crowds. No party boats. Just your group, the captain, and a beautiful day on the water.

I’ve been fishing these waters for over forty years. My earliest and some of the happiest memories of my childhood are fishing with my father. He loved fishing and passed his enthusiasm for the sport on to me. Those were truly memorable times that sparked a lifetime of adventure on the water.

I graduated from Medford Voc-Tech High School in 1980. In 1983 I earned my Journeyman License, and my Master Electrician’s License in 1987. I founded Silvestro Brothers Electrical Contractors, which became a full-service firm serving three states. In 1989 I acquired my U.S. Coast Guard OUPV License (commonly called a six-pack license), and later upgraded to a 100-ton Masters License.

I’m a lifelong member of the Mystic Wellington Yacht Club, where I previously held the position of Commodore.

Many years ago I first sailed into the waters of Falmouth on an offshore Yellow Fin Tuna adventure and fell in love with the area and its natural beauty. Shortly after, I purchased a home in Falmouth. Capt. Jim’s Charters has been sailing out of Falmouth for many years now, and we’ve met some wonderful people. Many have become regular guests aboard the PESCE, and lifelong friends.

The only thing better than fishing the breathtaking waters of Cape Cod is fishing with great company. I look forward to each season with happy anticipation, when we can again be on the water, sport fishing, and making memories with new and old friends.
